At our state of the art facility in Tipp City, Ohio we utilize advanced manufacturing technology to produce popular nutritional products, including Ensure®, PediaSure®, and Glucerna®. The facility operates 24 hours a day seven days a week to support the fast growing demand for nutritional products that help the aging population stay healthy and active. One of the facility’s unique features is its aseptic packaging technology, which is used for packaging a sterile liquid into a sterile container. Aseptic packaging has many benefits, including lower packaging costs, the ability to use ingredients in more ways and reduced energy use. The Tipp City plant is part of Abbott’s global network of 14 nutrition manufacturing facilities, including seven in the U.S.
